Abstract

Last five years the extensive field research in the Northern Priangariye led to a huge number of found and excavated sites. Among the most prominent Early Holocene sites it is safe to mention the Listvenichniy Island. Topography, representative stratigraphy, original and numerous items put this site in the list of main object of the Baikal Siberia of 9000–8000 BC. The collection features a number of finds made of bones and horns such as harpoons, classified by 5 varieties. In comparison to the other Baikal areas harpoons one can clearly see the difference: all Listvenichniy variants are elder than their south-eastern analogues. In the nearest area it was found a similar object Okunevka with close chronometry and typologically relative artefacts. Even at the early stages of studies of the Listvenichniy Island and Okunevka it is clearly seen the unity phenomenon in types of bone items, common development of bone production, chronometry and geography, relying on the Final Mesolithic culture in Northern Priangariye in 9000 BC.
