The two-volume work presents the results of the studies which began 20 years after the first summary publication of Shishkin petroglyph by A. P. Okladnikov . The main
merit of the authors is that for the first time in the Russia they were able to interest and to involve the specialists of geomorphology and geophysics into this work. Totally,
excluding Paleolithic, the Okladnikov periodization is confirmed and refined, but the results of geomorphological studies became a novelty. We can surely congratulate the authors with the success. A number of comments made in the review does not reduce the scientific level of the authors' work.
