Abstract
The article presents the analysis of climatic situations on the background of changes of the heliophysical parameters that were developed in Europe and has been named the Little Ice Age. The abundance of precipitation in both winter and summer, and the relative decrease of the air temperature were due to the influence of different types of cosmic rays on the Earth’s atmosphere. The last was showed in the cool and rainy summers and the cold and snowy winters. Only these circumstances could provide the snow accumulation in the mountains and the revival of the movement of glaciers. Excessive moisture and drought led to crop failures, famine, epidemics on the background of low culture of agriculture and animal husbandry. We must add the lack of proper hygiene that contributed to the massive manifestation of a number of exotic diseases for our time. Such grim picture came out on the basis of our multivariate analysis.
